Cristina “Chi” Gamboa is a seasoned banking and BPO professional with more than three decades of experience in operations, training, quality, and people development. She spent 25 years in the BPO industry, primarily serving the banking and financial services sector.
Beyond her professional career, Chi is a single mother, an autism mom of 19 years, a content creator, and an active member of the Healing Missionaries of the Holy Spirit – Luzon Division, where she is currently completing her Servant's Formation Program.
Her passion for helping others grew from her own life experiences. In 2021, Chi lost three beloved family members within four months—her grandfather, grandmother, and mother. The journey through grief taught her that moving forward does not mean forgetting, and that healing is not something that happens overnight.
Through this book, Chi shares practical insights drawn from her own journey, with the hope of helping others navigate grief, rediscover strength, and gradually find meaning in Living Through Loss.
Her mission is simple: to turn her experience with loss into a source of hope for someone who may be struggling today.
What others say

“The most meaningful resources are often created from a genuine desire to help others feel seen, understood, and supported. I admire Tita Chi for using her voice to support families navigating autism and individuals going through grief. May these pages bring comfort, hope, and encouragement to those who need them most.”

"Chi-chi, as she is fondly called by our fellow batchmates.
In gradeschool and highschool, is like my line of business. She creates a beautiful smile on each sullen face. With her bubbly character and practical wits.
She is a perfect individual for good leadership and voluntarism. She never fails to acknowledge each effort and supports everyone who are in need.”

A Gentle Reminder Before You Go
There is no deadline for grief. There is no perfect timeline. Some days may feel lighter. Some days may feel unexpectedly heavy. Both can be part of the journey. So be gentle with yourself.
One day. One breath. One small step at a time.
